Before you purchase those next plane tickets, pick a seat to maximize your comfort while minimizing your disturbances. Look for seats with extra leg room or near an emergency exit. However, look out for seats that don't recline (as some emergency exit seats do not). Consider sitting at the window so you can avoid getting bumped by a drink cart during the flight or having to move to let someone into and out of their seat during a flight.

Bring along headphones to either cancel noise around you or to let you listen to music to fall asleep too. -

Finally, close your eyes and relax.
