  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 2 cups cold water
  • Food coloring

Instructions

      Mix the sugar and cornstarch in a pan over medium heat. Slowly whisk in the cold water.

      Cook until it reaches cake batter consistency. It will thicken upon standing so keep this in mind for the consistency. Remove from the heat and let cool.

      Pour into separate containers and add a few drops of food coloring. Mix and add more color, depending on your preference.

Tips & Warnings

  • At first the paint will be a nice, smooth consistency, but over time it will thicken and become goopier. There's nothing wrong with this, it will just be thicker.
