Publish Your Online Blog As A Book

Most people now-a-days have a blog page. I personally like to use www.blogger.com, also known as blogspot. If you're like me you use your blog as a sort of journal. Well, did you know that you can have your blog turned into a book!? I just had my first book made, downloaded directly from my blog, and it turned out great! Here is how you do it!

Things You'll Need:

Internet connection
Blog page

Step 1

Go to www.blurb.com
Step 2

Register for the site. Registration is free and easy. All you have to do is create a username and password, and provide them with your email address.
Step 3

After you register for www.blurb.com, download their "Blurb BookSmart" program.
Step 4

When "Blurb BookSmart" is finished downloading, open it.
Step 5

You should see an area on the right hand side that will allow you to log into your blog page.
Step 6

After you login to your blog page, the BookSmart program should automatically start downloading your blog.
Step 7

Once your blog has completely been downloaded to the BookSmart program, you can edit your book as you see fit. You can add background colors, change the fonts, templates, page size, choose hard cover or soft cover, etc.
Step 8

When you are finished, and satisfied with your book, upload it back onto www.blurb.com. You will have to login to blurb to do so.
Step 9

When the book is finished uploading to www.blurb.com you can choose to buy a copy of your book, and you can email it to others. I had a 306 page, hard cover, book made and it came to $68. That may sound like a lot of money, but if I was to print all of those pages and pictures off at home, it would have cost me much more than that in printer ink, electricity, and paper.

I received my book within two weeks, and was extremely satisfied! I will keep doing this every year with my blog!
