- Old Wooden Frame
- Fabric
- Cardboard
- Ribbon
- Staple Gun
- Scissors

Step 1
Wall Hanging SuppliesYou'll need to purchase or find an old picture frame. Thrift shops and yard sales are great for finding these types of items inexpensively. You'll also need a piece of cardboard cut to fit the back of your frame, like the top of a pizza box. And you'll enough material to cover the cardboard, some ribbon, a staple gun, and a pair of scissors.

Step 2
Jewelry Wall HangingLay fabric wrong side up and place your cut piece of cardboard on top. Wrap material around cardboard. You want to have about three inches of material around the back edges of the cardboard.
Using a hot glue gun, glue fabric to the back side of cardboard.
**NOTE: you do NOT want to glue the fabric on the front side or you'll have bumps instead of a smooth surface. Just glue beneath the fabric around the backside of cardboard as shown in the photo. -
Step 3
Jewelry Wall Hanging RibbonCut stripes of ribbon to go across the width of your fabric board and a inch or two around the back. Place 4 - 6 ribbons across board at different heights. Glue ribbon edges at the back of the board to hold in place.

Step 4
Jewelry Wall HangingPlace ribbon-fabric board right side down on top of your picture frame. Your frame should be facing down with the wrong side of the frame facing the right side of your fabric board. Using a staple gun, staple around edges to hold in place.

Jewelry Wall HangingHang your new wall hanging in desired room. Add necklaces, bracelets, and hook top earrings around ribbon.
