This article will tell you how to preserve gold.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Buy a case to preserve your gold:

There are many cases that can store your gold for preservation and that also are great for display. You can store your gold in plastic cases that can then be set in wooden boxes to be opened for display.

  2. Step 2

    Choose a coin box case:

If you are looking to store many coins a coin box case may be most suitable. Coin display boxes will enable you to display many coins while coin roll boxes are more efficient for storage and less so for display.

  3. Step 3

    Use gloves and chemicals:

Using gloves will prevent your gold coins and jewelry from being exposed to the oils on your skin. Handling the gold in this way will prove useful when you are looking to sell. The purchase price will be higher the more you preserve the gold. You can also buy coin cleaning solutions and coin conditioners that will clean and preserve your gold.
