Step 1
Casa Feliz Historic Home Museum, 656 Park Avenue North.
This Spanish Farmhouse designed by noted architect James Gamble Rogers was saved from demolition and restored. -
Step 2
Walk south on Park Avenue and turn left at Fairbanks Avenue, which becomes Osceola Avenue.
You will see the campus of Rollins College, which first held classes in 1885. The architecture was influenced by the Spanish Mediterranean style. -
Step 3
Ward Cottage, 621 Osceola Avenue.
The first women's dormitory for Rollins College. -
Step 4
Albin Polasek MuseumNext to Ward Cottage is the Albin Polasek Museum and Sculpture Gardens, 633 Osceola Avenue.
Respected sculptor Albin Polasek, moved to Winter Park at the age of 71 to marry Ruth Sherwood. She died a year later, but Polasek stayed to found the museum where his sculptures may be viewed. -
Step 5
Continue east on Osceola Avenue, and turn left at Trismen Terrace.
The Palms, 240 Trismen Terrace
Built in 1898, the house was renovated in 1924 to reflect Georgian and Colonial Revival styles.
