You no longer have to let your prized stamp collection be hidden away out of site. Display it in a frame, so visitors to your home or office can enjoy it as well. They also make gifts for youngsters or adults.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 11" x14' picture frame
  • small glassine envelopes
  • Double stick tape
  • collectible postage stamps
  • 11" x 14" piece of poster board
  1. Step 1

Place each stamp you want to display in a small glassine envelope, or a piece of clear plastic wrap.
Fold them neatly so they don't slide out. Fold the top back and place a small piece of double stick tape on the back of each one.

  2. Step 2

Arrange the stamps in a nice pattern on the white side of the poster board. You can do squares, ovals, circles, etc. A series of 2 or 3 different years, using the stamps for one year in a circle and surrounding it with a circle from another year looks nice.

  3. Step 3

Place the poster in the frame and cover it with the card board backing that came with the frame.
Check to make sure everything is staying in place.
Hang the frame in a spot where visitors can admire it, but make sure it's away from direct sunlight.

Tips & Warnings
  • Use stamps from your collection that you have extra' s of to make gift frames.
  • Too much sunlight will fade the colors in the stamps.
