Start out by deciding which video game you are good at and start practicing. You will need to practice almost every day if you want to be good enough to become an MLG professional gamer. Gaming is like any sport where you will need to make sure that you practice so that you are good enough to compete with other gamers.

Build a team. Once you feel like you are good enough to play with the pros, you will need to start a team. Make sure that your teammates are around your same skill level so that they can keep up with you in tournament games. You do not want to lose your chance at becoming an MLG pro gamer just because your teammates cannot keep up with you.

Step 3
Once you feel like you are ready, log on to the MLG website and check for tournament locations and dates. Read all of the instructions on how to enter your team and go out for the MLG tournament. These games are the most important games you will ever play because this is what will determine if you can become an MLG professional gamer or not. Play well in the games and can become the next MLG professional gamer.
