How to Create Cool Slideshows
With the latest version of the iPhoto software, which comes installed on new Mac computers or can be purchased as part of iLife 09, you can create personalized slideshows of your pictures with a variety of cool themes and transitions. In addition, your iTunes music library can be combined with iPhoto to add your favorite songs to your slideshows.

Click on the iPhoto icon in the Dock to open the application.

Choose the album or event that you want to use with your slideshow from the "Library" on the left side of the main iPhoto window.

Highlight all of the images in your album or event that you want to include in your new slideshow.

Click on the "Slideshow" button at the bottom of the window to enter full-screen mode and advance to the slideshow setup window.

Select the overall theme that you want to use for your slideshow. The options include classic, scrapbook and snapshots.

Go to the "Music" tab and choose the song or playlist that you want to feature in your slideshow. You can select from a variety of included iPhoto musical themes or pick any song from your iTunes library.

Go to the "Settings" tab in the slideshow setup window and select the type of transition you want to use in between pictures. Then click on the "Play" button to watch your slideshow in full-screen mode.
