How to Learn to Draw Angels

Angels can be drawn using simple shapes. When you are learning to draw, it is best to use a pencil so you can erase any mistakes. After the drawing is complete, go back with a pen to outline the drawing you have made.

How To Draw Angels

1. Draw a 2-inch circle for the head.

2. At the bottom of the circle, draw a triangle. The tip of the triangle should appear as if it is behind the circle. Draw the base of the triangle with a slightly curved line for the angel's dress.

3. Draw two half circles coming out of either side of the angel's back for wings. Have the flat part of the half circle facing up at a 45-degree angle.

4. Along the side of the angel, draw two arms and hands. You can draw the arms as long triangles and half circles for hands coming out the bottom of the triangle.

5. Above the head, draw an oval for a halo.

6. Draw eyes, nose, a mouth and ears. Add hair around the head.

7. Erase any extra line and trace the angel with a pen.

8. If desired, color in the angel.

Tips & Warnings

• A kneaded eraser works well and is gentle on the paper when erasing.
