Instructions

    • 1

Wash and condition hair as usual. Spray with a detangling spray and towel-dry vigorously. Comb your hair and wait long enough that your hair dries a bit-- it should be only a little damp for best results.

    • 2

Part your hair down the center from your forehead to the nape of your neck to create two sections. Clip aside one section with clips. Divide the free section from your ear up to the center part. Clip the back section.

    • 3

Begin making 1-inch sections just above your forehead. Use the comb to separate a 1-inch-thick section and comb through it. Pull the section straight up and place the curler along the ends of the hair. Roll the hair over the curler and continue rolling the curler until it rests tightly against your scalp. Close the curler by folding the clip over the curler and snapping it.

    • 4

Separate another 1-inch section immediately behind the first rolled section and roll this section of hair in the same manner. Continue rolling the hair of this section until the entire section is in curlers.

    • 5

Unclip the back section and roll the hair in this section in the same fashion.

    • 6

Release the hair in the other half-section. Divide this section in half again from your ear up to the center part. Clip the back section.

    • 7

Repeat steps 3 through 5 with the second half of your hair.

    • 8

Spray your rolled hair lightly with hairspray to help set the curls as your hair dries. Leave the curlers in your hair until your hair is completely dry.

    • 9

Take the curlers out carefully without pulling your hair as you remove them. Do not disturb the curls as you take the curlers out. When all of the curlers are out, spray the curls lightly with hairspray again. Comb through the curls with your fingers only to arrange the curls. Spray with hairspray one more time.
