      Make sure your computer meets the minimum systems requirements for "Final fantasy VII." You need to be have a Pentium-133 processor or higher, a CD-ROM drive, at least 32 MB of RAM, at least 2 MB of video RAM (VRAM), 260 MB of free hard drive space and DirectX v5.1 or higher.

      Open the disc tray on your PC, insert disk 1 and close the tray.
