1
Choose a design for your centerpiece. This might be a small faux floral arrangement, a tall bouquet or something else entirely. Make or find photos of edible fruit centerpieces online to recreate. Your centerpiece might coordinate with your theme, or focus on the person's favorite fruit.
-
2
Purchase your vase, basket or other form of container in which the fruit centerpiece will be held. Also buy all your selected fruits, and wash and dry them as needed.

3
Choose some cookie cutter patterns such as pinwheels, hearts and other fun designs. Cut and slice your fruit into one-inch thick slices. Use the cookie cutters to punch out fruit pieces.
-
4
Use a wooden skewer to poke through the center of the cut-out fruit shape. Stick it through width-wise so the cut-out design is displayed vertically. Create a flower by adding a small piece of fruit in the center. Use a raspberry, blueberry, grape or even a strawberry for the center of the "flower." Break off a short piece of a wooden skewer, and poke it through the back of the "flower" and then halfway through the piece of fruit on the front, so it creates the floral center.
-
5
Make as many "flowers" as you like. Make several different kinds, all one kind and any other skewer creations you desire, such as a stick full of bright red strawberries.
-
6
Place a piece of craft foam in the bottom of your selected container. Arrange the fruit flowers by sticking them in the foam at various angles and positions to create the look of a full floral centerpiece arrangement. Wrap a ribbon or bow around the container for added embellishment.

Tips & Warnings
Look at examples online to find an arrangement you'd like to duplicate
Don't make the arrangement too far ahead of time (usually no more than 6 hours prior) because the fruit will dry out
