How to Make Bleaching Cream

Darker hair on the face can stand out against the skin. Although waxing is an option, skin on the face is often more sensitive than other parts of the body, so a full facial waxing session can damage the skin. Regrowth of hair will be visible between waxing sessions. Hair bleaching is easier on the skin and simpler to do at home than waxing, although it still can damage the skin, depending on the ingredients you use. This bleach uses peroxide, making it more effective but less gentle. Does this Spark an idea?

Tips & Warnings

  • Test the mixture on a patch of similar hair somewhere else on the body that can be hidden to make sure that the hair doesn't turn orange or yellow. Rub moisturizer on freshly bleached areas to soothe the skin. This mixture can be used on the arms.

  • This mixture is toxic if ingested. Do not swallow or allow it to get in the eyes. If the mixture becomes painful on your face, remove it. Don't use this mixture on longer hair, such as the hair on your head.
