Save your music file on the Internet. You can save your music on a site, such as Yousendit. Yousendit allows you to save and transfer music. According to Neopets.com, the music file must be an .mp3, .mid, .midi, and .wav file. To save a music file as one of these formats, choose the music file and click save as. Once you click save as, the computer will give options on how to save the file, click on the desired option. Click .mp3, if you want your music file saved as a mp3.

Add your desired music file to the end of the neopets url. For example, if your neopets page is "neopets.com/user", you would add your music file after it making: "neopets.com/user/music.mp3". The name of the music file will appear before ".mp3".
