How to Create Your Own Forum Website for Free
Forums are the same thing as message boards. Users are allowed to discuss any given topic and respond to other topics. Creating a forum website is a good idea because it allows the visitors to become involved with the website and the discussion topic. You can create a forum website for free and have it up and running within a few minutes.

Visit the Forumotion website (see References below for link).

Select the tab of the forum version you would like to use. Choose between PHPbb3, PHPbb2, Invision or PunBB (see Resources below for a comparison of features).

Select a style for your forum website. You may preview each style by clicking the "Preview" link next to the title of the style. Select a style by clicking the small circle next to the title. Click the "Continue" arrow at the bottom of the screen.

Type in the title of your forum website and include a description. Choose the URL for your site and the subdomain. There are dozens of subdomains to choose from (yoursite.forummotion.net, yoursite.darkbb.com, yoursite.find-forum.net). Select the main language for your forum and your time zone.

Add a valid email address and choose a password to access your forum's control panel. Read and agree to the terms and conditions in order to use the Forumotion website. Click the "Continue" arrow at the bottom of the screen.

Read the important information provided by Forumotion. This information includes all of the elements and behaviors that will not be tolerated by the Forumotion website. Enter your password and click the "Continue" arrow once more.

Receive your forum site link on the next page. Add the URL to your website or send it to your friends so that they can begin discussions on your new forum website.
