How to Craft Home Fragrances
Crafting your own home fragrances is a budget-friendly way to add a fresh aroma to your house. It also helps add a touch of personality. All you need to create your own home fragrance is a wide selection of scented or essential oils. Most people choose to use scented oils when creating a new home fragrance because the synthetic oils are reasonably priced and can mimic any scent. Natural essential oils are more expensive and only capture natural scents. The easiest home fragrance to create is a scented spray.

Tips & Warnings
If you want a scent with more wood tones and less floral tones, just change the scented oil ratios to seven drops cedar, five drops pine, three drops lavender, two drops jasmine, two drops magnolia, two drops lemon and one drop vanilla scented oils. You can use your custom home fragrance in many different ways. Instead of turning the scent into a spray, you can sprinkle it on potpourri, place it in a diffuser or mix it with baking soda as a carpet freshener. You can also use it to create your own incense, soap or candle. You can use any kind of unscented alcohol to replace the vodka. If you cannot find an unscented alcohol, you can also use rubbing alcohol. However, it will alter the scent slightly. You can use the basic recipe to create any customized scent you want. Just replace the scented oils listed with your own fragrance combination.
Be careful using home fragrances around pets or delicate fabrics. The scents are created from strong oils that can irritate animals and/or stain delicate fabrics.
