How to Connect a WiFi Antenna to a PC
WiFi antenna allows a PC connection to the Internet using radio frequencies. That is also known as the wireless local area network (WLAN). To support WLAN, a desktop PC needs an expansion wireless card having the PCI (Peripheral Component Interconnect) interface with the attached external antenna. Wireless cards are especially convenient in a household with several desktop computers connected to one network router to avoid complicated cable routing.
