There have been many Nintendo games released over the years, but there's one that truly remains a classic. It doesn't matter that the classic Tetris game was released in 1989, it's still one of the most addicting puzzle games ever made. While there have been other versions of Tetris released over the years, nothing beats the classic. Best of all, there's no need to rush out and buy an old NES to play this wonderful game. Tetris can be played online for free at websites like, EveryVideoGame.com.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Choose a safe online website, such as EveryVideoGame.com. EveryVideoGame.com has a large variety of classic Nintendo Games. Best of all, the website doesn't require the user to download any software other than Java.

  2. Step 2

Install needed media software. Many gaming sites require media software, such as Java. It's best to download the software directly from the software website. This ensures that the download is safe.

  3. Step 3

Figure out the controls. Some sites are nice enough to list the button controls, but others leave it up to the player to find out. It's usually very simple though. Tetris is mostly played with the arrow keys, a button to change the layout of the shape and a button to start/pause game play. At the Every Video Game website, Tetris movement is controlled with the arrows, the start/pause function is accessed through the "Enter" key and the "Z" key is used to change the layout of the shape.

  4. Step 4

Enter a name with the high score. For those players that are great at Tetris, don't forget to enter a name when reaching a high score.
