Things You'll Need:
- anti-bacterial liquid hand soap
- terry-cloth rags and bathmat
- re-usable sponge with one side slightly abrasive
- soap and shampoo
-
Step 1
Clean your toilet with an anti-bacterial liquid soap, the kind used for washing your hands. Whoever said toilet bowls must be cleaned using chlorine, ammonia and hydrochloric acids, chemicals found in many commercial toilet-bowl cleaners? And is it carved in stone somewhere that a toilet is not clean unless its water is an unnatural shade of blue?
And consider this: No matter what you use to clean your toilet, it never stays "clean" for long. Sooner or later, someone needs to "go." -
Step 2
Use the anti-bacterial soap to clean your tub and sink as well. A re-usable sponge with one side that's mildly abrasive is a good tool for this job.
-
Step 3
after: cleaned with harsh chemicalsUse a damp cloth and a rag to clean your bathroom mirror. You don't use your bathroom mirror as a serving platter, so is there any need to keep it as clean as dishes fresh from the dishwasher? Terry-cloth rags are great for this task. Just dampen one and use it to wipe off the soap scum that has landed on your mirror. Use a second rag to dry it.
