This is a slower long term detox solution yet is effective to help rid the body of toxins. Here are recipes for massage/aromatherapy, detox bath, and foot bath to body detox.

      Detox Your Body with Massage and Aromatherapy

      Using pure essential oils for massage and aromatherapy is an effective way to detox your body. Find the pure essential oils online or at health food stores. This recipe is safe to use topically as massage and as aromatherapy for detoxification to go through the lungs.

      ½ cup Lavender Oil
      ¼ cup Rose Oil

      Mix together and use to massage your neck, chest, and feet. The essential oils will be absorbed through your skin and into the blood stream to for body detoxification. Adding the oils to a bath will provide the same results. For aromatherapy put the oils into an infuser and breathe in the scent to be absorbed into the lungs.

      Detox Your Body with A Bath

      Ocean mineral, herbal baths, and hot springs are baths that are used to combat the environmental toxins. A home detoxification bath will release toxins and help with circulation and energy. The hot water draw toxins out of the body and, when the water cools, it will pull them from the skin. Take this body detox bath once a month.

      1 cup Epsom salts or
      ½ cup Baking Soda
      ½ cup Powdered Ginger

      Pour the Epsom salt, or Baking Soda, and ginger into a warm water bath. Soak and relax for 15 to 20 minutes. With a cotton washcloth or loofah scrub the skin for 5 minutes. Get out of the tub and immediately wrap up in a large towel or bathrobe and then cover yourself with a warm blanket, which will entice your body to sweat, for about one hour.

      Detox Foot Bath

      Water is a natural way to feel relaxed and tired feet are a key source to release toxins from the body. An ionic foot bath will restore the energy to those tired feet and detox at the same time.

      • Fill a plastic tub with luke warm water
      • Add sea salt
      • Soak feet for 15 - 30 minutes

      This solution creates positive and negative ions which soak into the body and attaches to oppositely charged toxins. These toxins will excrete through the pores in your feet. Ionic footbath benefits can include improvement in sleep pattern, relief of pain, increased energy, and improvement of kidney and liver function by removing toxins from the body.
