How to Change AIM Password

Go to aim.com. Click the link near the bottom of the page, under the Help category named "Change Password."

Click the link that says, "Forgot Password." It is found under the box for your password.

Enter your AIM screen name. Enter your username and complete the Captcha under it correctly. Click "Submit."

Answer the series of security questions that were selected during the initial setup of the account. Click submit after correctly answering these questions.
Checking Email and Creating a New Password

Check your email for the new password, It will be sent to the email address that you have on file with AIM. Click the link in the email, and it will send you to a password reset page.

Create a new password at the password reset page. Pick something that is complicated but easy to remember. Add extra security by adding numbers to your password.

Log in to AIM using your new password.
