How to Cleanse the Colon With P & B Shakes

Cleansing your colon is the process of removing toxins and mucus from your colon and colon walls. With a clean colon, you will be in overall better health and may even find yourself a few pounds lighter. A natural cleanser colon consisting psyllium husk powder and bentonite clay is known as a "P&B shake." The "P" stands for psyllium husk powder and the "B" stands for bentonite clay. One key in a successful P&B colon cleanser is to take it with lots of water. It may take a few days before you notice the mucus being shed from your colon.

Things You'll Need

  • Bentonite clay
  • Psyllium husk powder
  • 2 glasses of water
  • Measuring spoons
  • Spoon
  • Measure 1 tsp. bentonite clay and add it to one of your glasses of water.

  • Measure 1 tsp. psyllium husk powder and add to your glass of water, the one with the bentonite clay.

  • Stir. Drink the shake. You want to drink the shake on an empty stomach. Drink the second glass of water once you have finished with the shake.

  • Repeat the process, drinking 2 shakes a day for 5 to 7 days. Drink the shakes upon waking and before going to bed.

Tips & Warnings

  • If your body reacts well to the shake, you can drink up to 5 a day for 3 months without doing any harm to your system. Purchase psyllium husk powder (sometimes just called "psyllium") and bentonite clay at any health food store.
  • Stay close to a toilet the first few days you drink this shake.
