Break ups are never easy. This article will give you tips on how to move on with your life.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

There is no question that you are upset. You are looking for the easiest, and quickest way to deal with this.
One thing you must understand, is that everybody deals with break ups differently.
Time is the only real factor that helps people deal with breakups. You need time to understand why this happened, and how to move on with your life.
The first thing that many people do to help with the immediate pain, is to cry. If you are a guy, girl, man, or woman, CRYING is the easiest thing to do after breaking up.
There comes a point, however, when you need to stop crying and stop reflecting on the past, and start looking towards the future.

  2. Step 2

Did the break up end poorly? Are you no longer on speaking terms?
You need to talk to your closest friends, and family about this. You need to find people to share your feelings with. Sharing how you feel will help you understand your emotions more then you know.

If you are still able to communicate with the other person, you should try to do so at a minimum. Breaking up means you need to start living your life without the other. You need space to really understand why this decision was made.
If there is a chance you will be getting back together, you need to give as much space as possible. You need to figure out what you want, and your partner needs to do the same. Once you have both figured out what you want to do, you can go from there.

  3. Step 3

If you were the person who ended the relationship, you cannot try and make the other person feel better. It will make it worse for yourself, and may influence you to make bad decisions. You need to start re-building your life, and begin making new friendships/relationships.
If your partner was the one who ended it, you should understand it was done for a reason. You must respect the fact they ended this, and understand it was for the best. There is nothing worse than being in a relationship with someone who doesn't want to be in it. You can make someone be with you, but you cannot make someone love you.

If you REALLY love someone, you need to let them go. If they come back, than you know your love is true. If they do not come back, it was never meant to be.
This is obviously easier than done. However it is true.
Your life is an accumulation of "today's"
TODAY + TODAY + TODAY = YOUR LIFE.
You need to get up right now, and do something that will help you get over this break up.

Tips & Warnings
  • Be positive
  • Everything happens for a reason
  • Fate works in strange ways
