Things You'll Need:
- Yo-yo circles in different sizes.
- Needle and thread
-
Step 1
Cut circles for yo-yos in the color of your choice and in three different sizes. The little white Christmas tree here has three 3 1/2 inch circles, two 3 inch circles, and two 2 1/4 inch circles. Sew around the circles by hand, with about 1/4 inch turned under all the way around. Pull the thread to make the circle closed to the center. See Resources below if you need more information about making the yo-yo flowers.
-
Step 2
Take the largest three yo-yo flowers and stack them. Using a needle and thread with a knot at the bottom, thread the three large yoyos onto the needle. Add the next two middle-sized yoyos, and then add either a single or two at the top. The last one is for the star at the top, so if you use it, be sure to sew to the bottom or backside only. It also works to sew the top one from the edge, not the center.

Step 3
Christmas tree ornaments yoyo craftsTack the thread on the backside of the smallest yoyo. Add any decoration you choose. The scan shows tiny ribbon flowers, but if you are a crafter, you will find lots of possibilities for this yo-yo Christmas tree ornament.
