    The holidays are a fun time to throw parties for our kids and their friends. Unfortunately, these parties can also become costly. Here are some ways to save money for a great Halloween party.

  2. Step 2

    Visit your local dollar store for party favors, decorations and table settings. Even a plain black table covering or orange plates will work, Be creative.

  3. Step 3

    Simple games like bobbing for apples are an inexpensive way to have fun. Purchase candy corn and have a relay race. Download some spooky music off the internet and have a dance contest. The kids will love it.

  4. Step 4

    For food, make some popcorn and cupcakes. Buy frozen pizzas since they are cheaper than take out. Make some punch and add some food coloring to make crazy colors. Serve fruit and veggies that are Halloween colors like carrots, black grapes, melon, etc.

  5. Step 5

    Purchase a colored light bulb to make your room dark and last but not least, share a spooky story! Your party will be sure to be a hit.
