How to tell if your Coach purse is fake or real

Chinatown, New York, is probably one of the best places to buy a real designer purse for cheep. Even though many of these bags are real, about half of them are in deed fake. If you know what to look for however, you can great a great deal on a real designer post wherever you go.

• Eye to observe obvious signs that a purse is fake.

1. Fake Coach Bag. These C's are really O's.

   First look at the C's on the purse. They should line up and look like classic Coach C's. Some fake purses will actually have G's that are designed to look like the signature Coach C. Other will have O's. If you look closely this should be obvious.

2. The stitching on this fake purse is snagged and sloppy.

   Coach only uses the best materials in their bags. Hint why they cost a fortune. The stitching should be perfect! It should line up and not look sloppy.

3. Most coach labels are metal but not all of them are. The famous horse and buggy Coach label should be perfectly Stitched on. Some fake purses' Coach labels look like they are about to fall off. And most of the time they will after you buy them.

4. If somewhere on the purse in tiny print it says "Made in China" do not be frightened, many Coach purses are truly made in China. However, if you see anywhere made in Thailand or Korea then it is a fake purse. No Coach purses are made in either of these two places.

• Careful when shopping for purses over Ebay because you can't visually search them like you can if you were there.

• In NO way am I saying don't shop for purses in Chinatown. That is the ONLY place I would buy a purse.
