    Step 1) ADHD can reak havoc on young ones and adults alike. Left untreated, it can halt anyone's potential right in their tracks. The first step in treating ADHD in children and adults is MEDITATION. Take 20 minutes in the morning and 20 minutes every night and meditate in the zen buddhist tradition. Really concentrate on being in the moment. Over time, the meditation will slow your symptoms of ADHD significantly.

  2. Step 2

    Step 2) The second step in treating ADHD is MEDICATION. Get a psychiatrist to prescribe you ritalin, aderol, or concerta. These are good medicines for slowing the ADHD sufferer down, allowing them to concentrate more fully on the task at hand.

  3. Step 3

    Step 3) The third step in treating ADHD in children and adults is DIET. Avoid alchol, sugars, carbohydrates (i.e. bread), sugary drinks, and coffee. Try to eat well-balanced high in protein meals. A mixture of medication, meditation, and a good diet will really help the ADHD sufferer with his or her symptoms.
