Straighten Short Layered Hair

Straight layered hair can be a bit of a mess when it comes to styling. This is a fast and simple way to have straight short hair without the layers going all over the place.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1
Redken is found just about anywhere for cheap.
Redken is found just about anywhere for cheap.

With showered damp hair, place a dime sized amount of the REDKEN's blown away to the palm of your hand. Smooth evenly over the whole head.

  2. Step 2

Blow dry hair. Keep the blow dryer facing straight down about 7inches from head ... this will help with split ends.

  3. Step 3

When dried, comb through hair and add more REDKEN's blown away if needed for any fly away hair and heat up that straightener!

  4. Step 4

Place the straightener about an inch away from the roots and slide down. When near the tip, kind of flip it in just a bit so that the layers lay down rather than out. Repeat to the back of the head. If layers are longer in the front then exclude the flip to the tip.

  5. Step 5

Comb through hair once all is done. To keep hair and layers in place slightly spray light hair spray all around the hair for long lasting.

Tips & Warnings
  • For thin hair, tease for volume.
