The Tissue Paper Ghost is a cheap, quick, and highly enjoyable Halloween craft.A pack of tissue paper will make a ton of these. They are great Halloween party crafts for grade school kids. Children love making them, and since they are easy to make, they are frustration free.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Tissue Paper
  • Ribbon
  • Tape
  • Marker
  1. Step 1

Wad up a piece of tissue paper into a ball. Don't make it to small like the one on the left or your ghost's head will look funny.

  2. Step 2

Lay a piece of tissue paper flat and put your ball into the middle of it. Wrap the tissue paper around the ball and twist it. Wrap a piece of tape around the neck of the ghost

  3. Step 3

Use a marker, a sharpie works great, and draw a face. You can try to be elaborate. But, markers bleed terribly when drawing on the tissue paper.

  4. Step 4

Attach a ribbon for hanging the ghost up. You can tie it round the ghost's neck. Or you can tape it to the top of the head like we did.

  5. Step 5

Fluff out the bottom part of your ghost since it may have gotten squished while you were working on it. Now its time to hang your ghost up.

Tips & Warnings
  • This is an excellent classroom project for Halloween parties. For three bucks worth of stuff about twenty kids can make a ghost.
  • Check out your local dollar store. They have great prices on tissue paper. They also usually have a cheap selection of seasonal craft supplies.
  • Be careful when drawing the face. Markers tend to bleed and you end up with a big mishapen blot instead of eyes and a mouth.
