Dating: How to Know If He's Playing Games

Accepting that a guy is playing games with you or that he is just not into you is never easy. However, it's necessary to make the realization early on in your relationship, in order to preserve your sanity and your dignity. In a healthy relationship couples want to spend time together and phone calls get returned. You don't have to be a detective to find out if he's playing games.

Instructions

1. Call him once. Excessive phone calls and text messages makes you look desperate.

2. If he doesn't answer the phone, leave a voice mail expressing that you would like to see him or talk. Avoid being confrontational on his voice mail or he'll have no incentive to call you back.

3. Exercise self-control and do not call again. If he wants to talk to you, he will call back.

4. Accept the circumstances. You do not have the power to change his mind and seeking revenge is juvenile.

5. Find knowledge and inspiration in an enlightening yet comical book about relationships.

Tips & Warnings

• Ask him to be honest with you and be prepared to hear the worst. Knowing the truth is better than prolonging a doomed relationship. Be honest, but rational. Strong emotions are likely to make him uncomfortable, especially if you have not been together for very long. Self-control is of the essence.

• Making assumptions based on one missed call can be dangerous. Accusations will definitely make him run, especially if he's not guilty. If you think he's playing games, he probably is; it's not worth wasted time playing detective.
