How to Pay a Verizon Bill Online

You do not have to wait in long lines or hold on the phone with ridiculous wait times. Try another option, and pay a Verizon bill online. Simply find a computer, and connect to the Internet.

Instructions

1. Look at the Verizon bill to locate the account number. If the account number is not available, you must have Verizon home telephone service.

2. Type in this web address: https://www22.verizon.com/myverizon/.

3. To register, you will need the billing telephone number and a temporary PIN provided by Verizon. If you do not currently have a temporary PIN, you have three options to obtain one.
   1. If you recently established new telephone service with Verizon, the PIN will be printed on your first phone bill only.
   2. Verizon can deliver the PIN to the telephone number on the account via an automatic dialer. This is a popular method and will allow you to complete the registration process shortly after you submit the request.
   3. Verizon can deliver the temporary PIN via U.S. mail to the address on record. The mailing process can take anywhere from five to seven days.

4. Enter the account or home phone number in the space provided, and press "Continue." A password will need to be established for further account security. Select a password of a least eight characters that is easy to remember.

5. After you have gained access to your account, locate "My Verizon: Account Owner." Click on "View," "Print and Pay My Bill," and then click "Pay My Bill." If you would like to pay more or less than the amount due, enter the amount in the space provided. Choose the payment method most convenient. Verify that all payment information is correct and submit. Keep your confirmation number for your records.

6. To pay a Verizon wireless bill online, go to the address listed above. Find and click "Wireless." Go to "My Account," and click "View/pay bill." Follow the prompts similar to paying a home phone bill, and complete your payment.
