Things You'll Need:
- plastic bags from the grocery store
- trash bags
- freezer bags
- sandwich bags
-
Step 1
When you get groceries, they ask you if you want paper or plastic bags. If you are not going to recycle, ask for the paper bags. They will decompose much quickly. If you take home plastic bags, try to find a use for them.
-
Step 2
When you use trash/garbage bags at home, use the small ones from the grocery store, and retail stores for your small trash cans in the bedrooms, baths, and offices. Put one in your car to dispose of drinks, etc.
-
Step 3
If you buy the larger trash bags for your kitchen, etc., buy the one that fit, and fill them up before disposing of them. You can save money, time, and trash bags by crushing cans in your compactor, and taking them for recycling for cash. This greatly reduces the waste that is taken to some landfill to be there for years.

Step 4
Reuse small sandwich bags and freezer bags. Be sure they are clean, and dry before using again.
