Things You'll Need:
- Broom
- Dustpan
- Spray Bottle
- Murphy's Oil Soap
- Water
- Terry Cloth Mop
- Dry Towel

Step 1
Start cleaning the hardwood floor by sweeping floors of any loose dirt and debris. Sweep the debris into a dust pan and dispose.

Step 2
Take the spray bottle and fill with approximately 6 parts water to one part Murphy’s Oil Soap for cleaning the hardwood floor.

Step 3
Place a dry towel over shoulder to mop up any puddles that may occur while cleaning hardwood floor. This shouldn’t happen but best to be safe.

Step 4
Spray 3 foot by 3 foot area with hardwood floor cleaning solution made in step 1 and mop with dry terry cloth mop. Continue cleaning hardwood floor in this same manner until entire floor is done.

on 9/27/2009 Simple and easy to follow.. I especially like the "best to be safe" advice, that is what I need to hear. I will give you a 5* for nothing more than that. Next time I will have a dry towel on my shoulder. :)
