Change Your Home Page Using Mozilla Firefox

Sometimes you may just need a change from that same old homepage. Here is how to reset your Mozilla Firefox browser to default to a different home page than its current one.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Select "Tools" from the navigation bar at the top left of your screen. Choose "Options" from the drop-down menu.

  2. Step 2

Select the "Main" tab under "Options". "Main" is the first tab and your computer will likely default here, but just in case it doesn't, click it.

  3. Step 3

Look about midway down the "Main" tab. In the box that says "Home Page" there will be a web address. All you have to do is merely change that web address. Do not change the web address to merely a "www.whatever..." Unfortunately, this will not work. You must type out the full http path to successfully reset your home page. Copying and pasting is probably the best idea.

  4. Step 4

Click "ok". This will reset your current home page for Mozilla Firefox.
