MSN Messenger users select a display name and picture to identify themselves within the Messenger community. This feature allows users to express their personality while chatting. Users are able to personalize their Messenger display name with different fonts, text colors, emoticons and other effects. To add any of these features or otherwise change the way their display name appears, users must access their Messenger account settings using one of two possible methods.
