How to Compare Google Maps
Google Maps has become the online leader for driving directions and location mapping, but other sites like Yahoo Maps and Microsoft Bing Maps can offer some data that Google might miss, including certain small streets or less-known landmarks. There are a variety of online tools that allow you to compare Google Maps with other map services side-by-side to search for a location and see how the systems differ.

1
Go to the Google vs. Yahoo website in any web browser (see Resources) and enter the address of the location you want to compare in the text field at the top of the window. The site will grab the resulting maps from both Google and Yahoo and display them side-by-side. Google Maps will always appear on the left side of the page, and Yahoo maps will always appear on the right. Click and drag on either of the maps to move to a new location. Once one map changes, the other map will automatically navigate to the same location.

Go to the Bing and Google Maps website (see Resources) and look up an address in the search bar at the bottom of the page. Then click and drag your mouse cursor to adjust the view of both maps. Bing Maps will appear on the left side of the page, and Google Maps is on the right.

Go to the Night Earth homepage (see Resources) and enter any address in the search bar at the top of the page. A night image of the location you searched for will appear, and you can then use the tabs in the upper-right corner of the page to compare that image with the satellite images of Google Maps.
