In this How-to, I am going to teach you how to do a kickflip on a skateboard

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Skateboard
  • Patience
  • concrete
  1. Step 1

First you will need to know where to position your feet.
This is different for everybody, but the general rule is to put your feet in an ollie position (back foot evenly on tail, front foot in middle of board) and just turn you front foot to a 45 degree angle (towards the outside)

  2. Step 2

Once you have your feet placed properly, you need to bend down (keeping your shoulders parallell to the board, and without leaning too far forward) and prepare to pop the board. Now pop the tail down as hard as you can with your back foot, and slide your front foot forward and off the board at a 45 degree angle, all while jumping in the air.
Suck your legs up as far as you can and keep you body parallell while watching your board rotate under you. as soon as you board has rotated a full kickflip, and your grip tape appears, catch your board with your feet and land.

  3. Step 3

Now simply roll away and smile. :)

Tips & Warnings
  • You might want to get used to just making the board rotate the full kickflip rotation before you actually try to land it.
  • Make sure you keep your back foot flat and straight so that your board does not go sideways, you want it to stay paralell with you.
  • Always wear the proper safety equiment while skateboarding.
  • You might bust your shins up a few times before you completely get this trick down
