Need to know how to straighten you hair with a straighter? Follow these steps.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    If you are just getting out of the shower then make sure to blow dry your hair on high heat until completely dry. This will help to go ahead and straighten most of your hair.

  2. Step 2

    Turn on your straightener and let sit for 10 minutes to get fully hot.

  3. Step 3

    If you use any straightener products apply to your hair now and brush through.

  4. Step 4

    Take your hair and pull the top half up into a bun so you can do your hair in sections. This will help you to not have any lumps left in your hair.

  5. Step 5

    On the part of your hair that is not tied up, take your straightener from the top root and slowly pull all the way down to the end of the strin. Repeat 3 times and move to next section until bottom half is completely straight.

  6. Step 6

    Let down the rest of your hair and brush through to get out all tangles.

  7. Step 7

    Once again pull your hair out and start from the root down to the tip also repeating 3 times. Continue until top portion of hair is completely straightened.

  8. Step 8

    Make sure that for every 10 minutes you use your straightener you allow it 5 minutes to reheat.

  9. Step 9

    Style as desired.
