Easy Halloween Costumes

You have an hour until your Halloween party and don’t have a costume yet. Here are some easy Halloween costume ideas that you can put together in under an hour using things you have around your house.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

    Static Cling
Wear dark colored clothes. Safety pin random bits of clean laundry to yourself, such as mismatched socks, underwear, dryer sheets or small washcloths. Style your hair so that it is sticking up to complete this Halloween costume.

  2. Step 2

    Smartie Pants
For this costume, just safety pin packages of Smarties all over your pants.

  3. Step 3

    Leaf Blower
Wear a hat with a wide brim, such as a baseball cap. Tie a piece of string around the stem of a leaf, either real or fake. Safety pin the end of the string onto the brim of the hat so that the leaf hangs down in front of your mouth. When someone asks what you are for Halloween, blow on the leaf and tell them you are a leaf blower.

  4. Step 4

For this Halloween costume, wear nice clothes. Find a frame big enough to fit over your head, but small enough that it will sit on your shoulders. Remove the picture and glass so that you just have an empty frame. Hang the frame around your neck. When someone asks what you are for Halloween, hold the frame up around your face and give them your best smile.

  5. Step 5

    Nudist on Strike
Put on your regular clothes. Cut a large rectangle out of cardboard. Write “Nudist on Strike” onto the cardboard using a large permanent marker or paint. Punch a hole in each of the top corners of the cardboard, tie the ends of a piece of yarn or rope to the holes and hang the sign around your neck. If you have a trench coat, wear it closed and occasionally flash people, displaying your sign.

  6. Step 6

If you are down to the last minute, all is not lost. Look at what you have around your house, and with some creativity, you are sure to come up with a Halloween costume you can wear.
