Bluetooth is a kind of wireless technology that specializes in small networks called PANs (Personal Area Networks), such as a mobile network among your Bluetooth earpiece, personal digital assistant and phone. Bluetooth technology can also be used to network devices in a small office, such as printers, computers and mobile electronics.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Check to make sure your printer and computer are Bluetooth capable. You should be able to verify this in the documentation that came with the devices. Some printers have a Bluetooth switch or button on them. Look for it near the Bluetooth logo.

  2. Step 2

Turn on your computer and set it to search for connections. It should detect your headphone and automatically connect.

  3. Step 3

Turn on the printer and make sure the Bluetooth "switch" is turned to on. Your computer should also pick up the printer and network the three devices.

  4. Step 4

The Bluetooth network will stay connected as long as the devices are on and in range. Set the computer to remember the devices if you want them to automatically connect in the future.
