How to Recalibrate a Leapfrog Leapster

These learning game systems are excellent for children, but they sometimes need to be recalibrated if they begin to freeze or stop working for periods of time. Put a game cartridge in the Leapster and wait for the first screen to load. You're waiting for the sign on screen that usually starts up a new game.

Press the "Home", "B", and "Hint" buttons simultaneously.

Push the "A" button immediately after you notice the screen change.

Touch the middle of the screen using the Leapster's stylus.

Play a game to ensure the Leapster is now recalibrated and working properly.

In step three, if you wait more than a second or two after the screen changes, the game loads and you'll need to start over again.
