According to MedicineNet.com, oxygen bars first became popular in the U.S. in the late 1990s. Today, they are enjoyed by customers at upscale spas, tanning salons, yoga studios and even airports. Although there is no scientific research to back up claims that oxygen bars are beneficial, home oxygen bar companies claim their products have the ability to reduce stress and increase energy. If you'd like to receive the benefits of breathing in concentrated oxygen, but cannot afford to visit a spa, you can purchase a personal oxygen bar that is lightweight and easy to use at home.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Purchase a Zadro personal home oxygen bar. The portable oxygen bar delivers air that is enriched with 30 percent oxygen, helping you to relax and breathe easier. As you are enjoying your oxygen treatment, listen to tranquil music provided by the oxygen bar's built-in sound system. The Zadro personal oxygen bar is available at retailers such as Better Health Innovations and Amazon.

  2. Step 2

Invest in the personal home oxygen bar by O2 Innovations. The unit allows users to enjoy a 10, 20 or 30 minute treatment. Aromatherapy oils can be added to enhance the smell of the purified oxygen. The 15 pound oxygen bar has a built-in handle and comes with an extra air intake filter,12 mouthpiece filters and a protective cover.

  3. Step 3

Buy a personal home oxygen bar by Toyotomi. Unlike most home oxygen bars, the Toyotomi bar contains a four-layer filter designed to purify the air you breathe. The unit also has an adjustable headset so you can listen to music while enjoying your treatment.

on 11/16/2009 O2 Innovations is a poorly made product, it costs way too much and is not worth the price. I have had several issues with this unit since I purchased the product.

on 11/16/2009 I would not recommend an O2 Innovations Oxygen bar. I have had several problems with mine. I think they are poorly made and had issues with their customer service staff when trying to get my Oxygen bar fixed.

They are not worth the price and the customer service is very poor
