How to Burn a YouTube Video Onto a CD Without Software

Save

YouTube has been a movie and video sharing website since early 2005. Now owned by Google, YouTube uses Adobe Flash to display optimized videos uploaded by individuals and media corporations. Although registered users can upload videos that do not violate copyright law, YouTube has not provided a means to download videos to your computer or burn to CD in the website. You can use a third-party website to download YouTube videos to your computer and burn to CD without having to purchase or download additional software.

  • Navigate your web browser to the Tube Zen YouTube video download site listed in the resources.

  • Enter the uniform resource locator (URL) of the YouTube video you desire to burn to CD.

  • Select the format to download the video in from the menu choices on the website. The available formats are: 3gp Low Quality, 3gp High Quality, MP-4, MP-4 High Definition, and Flv.

  • Choose "Save File to Computer" when prompted by the dialogue box.

  • Right click the video file after download and select the "Send File to" menu option and choose your CD-R/W / DVD-R/W drive on your computer to burn the video to CD.
