You can find letters, flowers, animals, musical instruments, birthday images and a wide variety of vellum sticker subjects at your favorite sticker source. The stickers are printed on the thin, colorful, nearly see-through vellum paper. The detailed images are photo safe and work well for scrapbooking. Use your own paper punches, die-cuts and small pieces of artwork on vellum paper to make stickers by applying special adhesive to them. Apply vellum stickers to any paper craft, greeting card or box project.

Instructions

Decide where the sticker will be placed on the item you are crafting. Measure and lightly mark the item if you are making a precise placement of the sticker. Carefully place the tip of a craft knife, stylus or tweezers under one end of the sticker.

  2. Step 2
    Lift sticker

Carefully lift the corner of the sticker with the tool as you pull the sheet down from the vellum piece. Pull slowly so you don't tear the sticker.

Place the sticker on to the craft item. Make sure it is in the exact position that you want it to be in. It can be moved only if there is very little of the adhesive touching the craft item.

Put gentle pressure onto the sticker to adhere it to the paper or cardboard surface. You can carefully rub it down with the tip of your finger or a piece of soft, unscented facial tissue or cloth.

  5. Step 5
    Sticker back

Place a non-adhesive vellum art piece in to a Xyron sticker maker or on to a sheet of adhesive sticker paper to make your own sticker. Follow product instructions to create the sticker. Place on to a cutting mat and peel the sticker from the product sheet. Adhere to the craft project.

Tips & Warnings
  • Do not try to remove a sticker once it is fully adhered to your project. The vellum piece may tear when pulling it away from the project.
