Master Lock offers a combination retrieval service for certain locks. If your lock does not have a serial number, or if it is still attached to something, they will not honor your request. If you meet those two requirements, follow Master Lock's lost combination procedure to retrieve your lost combination. To avoid this in the future, Master Lock offers a free registration service at www.ComboLocker.com. It allows you to safely store combinations online. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    • 1

Go to www.MasterLock.com and print out the Lost Combination Form. On the home page, click "FAQs" on the bottom right. Then click "Lost Combinations" in the menu on the left side. Halfway down the page is a link to a printable Lost Combination Form.

    • 2

Fill out the form and sign it in the presence of a notary public, who must notarize the form to prove that you are the owner. If there is no raised or rubber stamp seal from a notary public, your combination request will be denied.

    • 3

Photocopy the back of the combination lock. Make sure the serial number is clearly visible, or your combination request will be denied. Note that Master Lock requires the photocopy to "clearly show that the lock is not attached to anything."

Place the photocopy and the original, notarized form in a stamped envelope and send it to: Master Lock Warehouse, 1600 W. La Quinta Rd, Suite/WHSE # 2B, Nogales, AZ 85621. It will take 4 to 6 weeks for your request to be processed.
