How to Shoot a 760 Pumpmaster Pellet Gun
The 760 Pumpmaster is an air rifle manufactured by Crosman that is capable of firing both BBs and pellets. As of August 2009, over 12 million rifles have been sold. The Pumpmaster is a popular gun because it is lightweight and very accurate. The sight rail is easy to use and is not bulky or obtrusive. These attributes make it an excellent option when you are choosing an airgun to use for target practice.
Instructions

1
Engage the safety on the gun before loading and immediately prior to firing.
-
2
Load the pellets into the 760 Pumpmaster. This rifle is capable of holding a five-shot clip for pellets. One pellet goes into each open slot on the clip. The clip is placed in the appropriate slot made specifically for the clip at the top of gun.

3
Pump the airgun up anywhere between 1 to 10 times. Be careful not to overpump, as the gun may break. The more you pump the gun, the more air pressure is available to fire the pellets. Generally, no more than 8 pumps are necessary.
-
4
Pull the bolt back on the gun to load one pellet into the chamber.
-
5
Shoulder the airgun and use the sight rail to find your target. Do not put your finger on the trigger until you are ready to fire the gun.
-
6
Take the gun "off safe." When you have found your target and are ready to fire, disengage the safety on the gun.
-
7
Squeeze the trigger. Be careful not to pull the trigger toward the right or the left, as this will affect the accuracy of your shot. Squeezing the trigger will fire the pellet toward your target. Once you have fired the gun, repeat steps 2 through 5 until you are out of pellets. Then reload and continue target shooting.
