How to Change an Rgb Tile Into a Pantone Color in CorelDraw X3
RGB (red, green, blue) is the native color system for all computers. Inks, paints and other finishes, however, are based on a subtractive color system. The CYMK (cyan, yellow, magenta, black) system is subtractive, but it has severe limitations for people who want to specify how a particular color will look on a specific surface. The Pantone Matching System, developed in 1963 by Lawrence Herbert, was originally intended for the graphic arts industry, but has since been expanded to include many other color-critical industries.
CorelDraw X3 provides the Pantone system as one of its color-matching choices. Learn how to convert from RGB color to Pantone color on CorelDraw's pattern tiles.
