roast chicken and vegetables, a perfect way to chase way that autumn chill!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 whole chicken
  • salt and pepper
  • garlic
  • onions
  • celery
  • carrots
  • egg noodles
  • flour
  1. Step 1

    First you will need to roast your chicken, you can season it to taste. i also like to add sage and oregano when roasting my chickens

  2. Step 2

    The process will take about 2-3 hours depending on the size of the bird, in the last hour of cooking put in the vegetables that way they can cook and by the time you are ready to make the gravy they will be done.

  3. Step 3

    After the vegetables and the chicken is done you will want to de-bone the chicken and add the vegetables into another pot.

  4. Step 4

    Cook noodles according to package

  5. Step 5

    Now take some of the broth and heat it till boiling. season to taste. make a flour paste mixture and add it to the broth. you will need to let it cook on low heat to thicken up

  6. Step 6

    When the gravy is to desired thickness you will add it to the vegetables and meat so it makes kind of like a stew.

  7. Step 7

    when the noodles are done you can serve your meal. i would suggest serving the stew on top of the noodles instead of mixing it all together.
