Step 1
ingredients.Prepare the pasta dough by scaling one cup of flour into a large bowl, traditionalist can make it on the table, makes more mess to clean up.
in a smaller bowl, lightly beat together, the egg, egg yolk, water and salt. -

Knead the dough 8-10 minutes.Combine the contents of both bowls and form into a soft dough.
With a little flour on the table knead the pasta Dough for at least 8-10 minutes. -
Step 3
Rest 30 minutesLet the Pasta dough rest for at least 30 minutes to allow the gluten to relax. Cover with plastic wrap.
It can be refrigerated at this stage until ready for use for at least three days. -
Step 4
Trim the pasta dough.With a floured rolling pin roll out the pasta dough to form a rectangle.
Trim to make more even. -
Step 5

Slice thinly.With a sharp Chef's knife slice thinly across the Pasta dough.
Unravel to Make Fettuccini Pasta.
